Drawing on experience with firms in the United States and his native Latvia, Eugene ‘Evgeny’ Maftsir (Евгений Мафцир) is a financial professional who serves as the president of BEV Associates. Having founded the organization in 2002, he is responsible for equity and real estate investments, among other duties.

Since emigrating to the U.S. in 1990, Eugene Maftsir has held leadership roles with a range of organizations, such as Elegant Logic Inc., where he was executive vice president for six years. During this time, he oversaw computer and software sales to the Eastern European market while also managing logistics.

Before founding BEV Associates, Mr. Maftsir was the president of the New Jersey-based Elbron Holdings, where he was responsible for trade finance, among other areas.

Outside of his professional activities, he enjoys playing chess and traveling. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in math, which he gained at the Latvian State University in 1984 and 1986, respectively.
